GREEN ROOF
BRANSON HIGH SCHOOL ROSS, CALIFORNIA
Branson High School, a private educational institution in the woodlands of Ross, California, has demonstrated ingenuity by incorporating two green roofs on its newly constructed cafeteria/lounge building, adorning these innovative rooftops with indigenous annuals and perennials designed to prevent the need for irrigation. The temperature of the underlying areas is kept constant by covering the roof sections with an aerated layer of 1″ Drainage Cells and soil/plant cover.
